Studio Looks "Glitchy" Upon Opening

When I opened up studio, I was presented with a weird, glitchy mess that I’ve never seen before. I could interact with what should be there, like opening games, but I could not see what was going on.

Where it happens: Upon opening Studio. See video below.
It started happening this morning. Around 11:30 CST. I did not experience this issue last night.

I can open up and edit games just fine. I just cannot see the “main menu.”

Repro: Open up Studio. It’ll be the first thing you see after the loading screen. Every time I’ve opened up studio from this morning onward, I’ve been presented with this mess.

It is not a crash, freeze, or disconnect. There isn’t any lag. Roblox Studio only looks weird/wrong.

System Specs: Intel(R) Core™ i5-8250U CPU @ 1.60GHz, 12GB, Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620

Please, please, please let me know if I should provide any more information.

Hi ItsMacaw,

If you exit a place and return to the main menu, is the screen still “glitchy” or is this only experienced upon opening Studio? Is this still occurring for you? If so can you try reinstalling Studio to see if this reproduces?

Hello! I actually had this exact Problem a Month ago, In the Windows Search Bar, look up “Device Manager” and then look for “Display Adapters”. After Clicking “Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620”. Go to the Driver tab and Click “Roll back Driver”. This is will fix it. Your Screen will flash for a minute and It will allow you to get into studio.

Not only is the place still “glitchy” when I exit back to the main menu, the screen is also glitchy when I open up a place, as shown by the video below:

And yes, this is still occurring for me. I’ll reinstall Roblox Studio and see if the problem goes away.

Sounds good, I would also try what besupernow suggested since they seem to have experienced this in the past and have fixed it.

I will pass along the issue (and solution if it works) to prevent others from experiencing this behavior.

Reinstalling studio did not fix the problem, as I still see this “gltichy” effect upon opening.

I also tried this, however, the option to “Roll back Driver” was grayed out:

Cannot RollBack Driver

Is there a reason why it’s grayed out, and are there any workarounds/alternatives to fix this issue? Sorry if the reason it’s grayed out has nothing to do with Roblox, but I’ll ask just in case.

I think its a RAM issue my pc would do that with photo shop when i was using 2 different ram brands

if it’s grey it means there is no previous version it can roll back to

Maybe try updating the monitor? Also, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Studio?

You can try deleting the roblox studio registry folder, and then reinstalling roblox studio.
