Studio Publishing Error

Hey there,

Me and my friend are currently having an issue overwriting our other game, you can publish the game into that place just fine however when you go into the studio or playtest it the file is the exact same as before and nothing changes.

If anyone knows the cause to this, or how to fix it without uploading it to a separate place please let me know.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Please correct me if I am wrong. Is this what is happening?

  1. Publish game A over game B
  2. Open game B in Studio / open game B in play test
  3. game B is unchanged

Is the game you linked the game you are publishing over in this case? Team Create is on for the game you linked. Does everyone leave the session before you perform the overwrite?

Yeah that’s exactly what happens, and yes everyone has left team create.
