Studio quitting on launch

When I launch studio from the shortcut, I’m greeted with the “Unexpected error has occurred and Roblox need to quit” message. This also happens when I open a Team Create, yet doesn’t happen on a regular place. I have tried it on a team create I own, and the error still persists. There have not been any significant changes on my laptop, and network connections are allowed for Roblox Studio (Even turned off the firewall to test). I have also reinstalled and cleared the AppData files.

System Specs:
CPU: i7-7700HQ @ 2.80 ghz
GPU: GTX 1050Ti
RAM: 8GB RAM DDR4 @ 2400mhz
OS: Windows 10 Home Build 17763.316

Next time this happens, can you go to %localappdata%/Roblox/logs and provide the .dmp file from your most recent session?

Since it wouldn’t let me upload the file directly to here (assuming due to the size), I’ve uploaded it to a github

I’ve had a similar problem with the new update. When I try to open some places in studio, it starts loading as it normally does, but after 2-3 seconds showing this screen (something that is fully normal):

studio sudently closes/crashes.

I’ve gone and check my logs for the last 5 attemps and there was no sign of any errors.

This has happened since the last studio update (Studio Version 0.375.0.284048 [64bit])

Checked the crash dump, it seems that Studio is using your Intel Integrated card. And you said you have a Nvidia card, maybe you have two graphics cards, and Studio picks the Intel one.

Could you collect your graphics card info by below link and share with us? Thanks:-)

Not a problem! DxDiag.txt (99.2 KB)

Thanks a lot. You do have 2 graphics card, “Intel® HD Graphics 630” and “NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti”. And Studio seems to be using the Intel one.

Just got suggestion from rendering guys, could you try to use high-performance card for studio’s executable (RobloxStudioBeta.exe) from “Nvidia Control Panel”?

Did so and rebooted, but no success. You’ll find the updated logs on github

Edit: I realized I did it to the wrong application and corrected it, however it still crashes. I wouldn’t believe it’s a graphics related issue considering I could open the same place if I were to have it not as a Team Create.

Edit: I no longer have the issue after fully resetting my laptop.
