I spent several days importing new meshes with textures. However, after rejoining on day 3, I lost all my progress because Studio randomly changed the scale of many meshes.
I have already tried the following:
Reinstalled Studio
Copied and pasted different meshes
Had a different user/friend open the map on their local device
Loaded backups, but every backup contains the same issues
Unfortunately, it is still not fixed for me. I just checked. However, the error looks very similar to the one that was fixed, except that in my case, the meshes are larger than the blue hitbox and not smaller as described in your post.
Attached is a picture of the situation. As you can see, there are two blue lines, although the square one usually corresponds to the truth.
This issue is related to the fix mentioned in this post. Unfortunately, due to a bug introduced in that fix, we need to roll it back.
We’re planning to release another fix next Thursday (tentatively), which should fully resolve the issue.
In the meantime, you can temporarily avoid the issue by ensuring that the imported mesh has a size greater than 0.001 in all dimensions. Please let me know if this workaround doesn’t resolve it for you. Thank you for your understanding!
