This only happens on files that are not local copies. No idea what’s wrong, but i’ve heard 1 other person having this issue. Can’t do anything in roblox studio, I’ve tried waiting for literal hours and it never connects.
Reproduction is impossible.
I have tried reinstalling, clearing cache, logging out and back in.
This sometimes happens to me. What works for me is canceling the connection and reopening the game I want. Maybe try this and see if it works, other than that I have no idea how you could fix this…

As an update, I’ve scrubbed literally EVERY ROBLOX STUDIO FILE from my entire PC and reinstalled. No luck so far.
After some fiddling, I found out it works fine if I disable team create. So that’s progress, i guess?
Update; After a lot of manually copying places, I managed to get a local file. Team create causes the first issue, but now this happens when I play test.

Could it be a plugin or free model that someone in your team has used and it’s bugged the place?
And when you say ‘reinstalling’ do you mean you tried installing it over the version you have, or did you uninstall it and then install it?
I am a solo dev. Teamcreate was enabled by default, and if I ever hired help I figured it wouldnt hurt.

The RECENT update is without team create.
Forgot to address the second half. Its 10:30pm
I fully wiped all traces of it off my pc, using REVO uninstaller. Then I reinstalled it.
The play solo hang is a separate issue tracked elsewhere. (there’s a few of these, we’re going to wrangle them into a single place). See the post I left there on the type of information needed to resolve this - most of this is coming from errant plugins which may have infinite loops, deadlocks etc. We’re going to roll out some changes to terminate the misbehaving plugins so this doesn’t happen, but for now it would be useful to understand which ones have this issue.
I’ll close this if there’s nothing more to do on the team create side, but if you can provide more info we can have someone from Team Create take a look at your specific case.
Team Create simply will not connect. There is no clear reason for this.
I tested it, and can replicate it consistently on my system by opening a place with Team Create enabled.
I also tried to disable all the plugins, but it did nothing.
I’m not sure if there’s something I’m missing, but it was very much just me starting up a test, the test breaking, and then this happening for the previous week+.
What’s your “Incoming Replication Lag” set to in Studio Settings?
Incredibly funny solution after all this hassle; I had it set to 100 seconds instead of 100 milliseconds. I’m going to see if that changes anything in Team Create.
Update; this was apparently the source of ALL issues I was having. I am marking this as the solution, because now everything works fine. No idea when it changed, because I never had an issue with that setting before?

I think it only breaks Team Create, so if someone recently enabled it on your game, then that would make sense
