Studio runs horribly, but Roblox itself does not

Studio consistently runs slow whenever I am in any sort of place, there’s graphical shading bugs and sometimes when turning the camera quickly parts begin to turn back temporarily, like for example on a regular Baseplate parts of it start turning black before going back to normal shortly after.

The is constant and even takes effect whenever I open up menus such as settings menus, it is in no effect whenever a Baseplate isn’t running.

This only took place when using my new PC, my old one with worse specs was not like this.

My new PCs CPU is AMD Ryzen PRO 5650G with Radeon Graphics and my GPU is NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4070, I have made sure to switch the GPU to the 4070 but the problem still persists

By any chance do you use the “Max framerate” option in the NVIDIA control panel? My studio ran pretty bad too, just like yours, until I made an exception for Studio to not to use that option.

Hope this helps

It’s off completely, doesn’t change much, if anything at all

I’ve already got the drivers up to date and reinstalled them yesterday a bit after just in case, nothing changes

This issue is EXCLUSIVE to studio

EDIT: Could have something to do with that mouse polling rate issue some people are getting? Noticed it was lagging more the higher mouse speed I was at

EDIT 2: Can’t be mouse polling, lags regardless

Slowly starting to get worse now, over time with the program open it starts doing it a lot more aggressively.

Have you tried changing your graphics mode?

You’ve just saved my life, thank you so much LOL
