I’m (kind of?) noticing this too. My start page looks really different to how it used to, I’m not sure why. @MeshOfPaul

Right now the “quick recents” in the Home tab are hardcoded to 6 tiles/slots. Our thinking is these truly are the most recent files you’ve been in and an easy way to hop back in them. Then we have the dedicated Recents tab for longer history. We do intend on allowing the ability to pin/favorite, eventually (no ETA on that currently)

@bvetterdays You have less than 6… so maybe that’s why it seems different? Were you expecting other places here that we aren’t showing for some reason?

Kind of the same thing with Templates. There’s the popular templates on the Home and then the option to go to the dedicated Templates tab.

Or is this all because the Discover Studio section actually has 7 tiles right now?

Wasn’t expecting any more than shown in the screenshot! Just that the layout looks different compared to how it was before the most recent Studio update. Can’t quite put my finger on what has actually changed, so I guess I just assumed it was this “bug” causing the issue

There’s nothing really wrong with the current layout per se, just looks a little different than usual so wanted to add my two cents here in case it was a bug causing the visual changes. I’m more than likely mistaken here; it’s likely just some small change, like maybe the sizing of each place tile changing slightly, causing these visual differences, so it’ll just take some getting used to. All good!

Thanks for the lengthy response here.

We’ve been tweaking with the tiles a little bit but nothing too crazy. We do plan to do some major styling updates sooner than later. This is kind of a rough first pass towards global design system we’re adopting.

The only other thing I can think of is we changed the Studio Tour at the top to reflect the cool new tour environment we launched.
