for some reason roblox studio is not letting me make games for them. there studio is extrememly broken and the effects seem to be them telling me they dont want roblox devs anymore

I noticed an error appeared in the Output widget right after you changed the position property, what did it say?
There is arrows next to the parts, which means there is something inside:
Perhaps the parts are welded to the baseplate? Just remove the weld and it should be fine
Im pretty sure you can disable “Join surfaces” to make the welds not reappear
Does this happen on a new file and with plugins disabled?
i accidentally put a / before typing the number but even when i dont it stil doesnt work
Like BackspaceRGB asked, what is inside the part you are trying to adjust the property of? Could any of your plugins be causing this issue?
Yes it was welded. is it possible to turn roblox auto weld off its very annoying
