For a first attempt, I definitely think it looks good.
I suggest adding more details to [https://gyazo.com/e41ab56ff8a4489e67907ee0f99407b5] the bottom part of the staff because its sort of plain and just looks like some cylinders.
Also try looking at some reference images:

Looking at reference images can help you add more detailing and make it accurate.
You obviously gonna get a heart from this nice stuff you made 
It is very nice for a beginner i suggest using blender and watching tutorials from youtube other then that its great!
