Stunstick + Shield Tool For Combat!

Hello, I am XV4BT3. I was recently creating a combat tool. Which includes a stunstick and a shield. Everything works perfectly fine. I welded the shield on the Left Arm and the stunstick had a motor6d. Now I also needed to change the position of the arms. But when I walk the walking animation still plays. I’d love to get your feedback on how you’d develop this. If you don’t understand the question I’m asking. Just tell me how you would weld the arms and the stunstick to achieve how it works in the clip above. + I cannot weld the arms because the arms still need to play other animations like hitting someone with their stunstick…!??

That’s animations, when the tool is equipped a looped anim of arms plays

But like when they walk with the tool equipped the arms don’t animate but the legs do. How did they achieve that?

Animate only the arms without touching any other keyframes

Alright and once I equip the tool the tool the arms are changing its position. How can I use that position to make a different animation. Like when I want to make an idle animation I need to know the position where the arms ended to start with a new animation.

I’m not sure what you mean but you can use anim:Play(0.5) to smoothly transition anims
