Description
The diagonal render artifact seen in the video is not related to this bug report.
In the Style Editor… and hopefully not also in the New Properties Next Gen thing…
there is this Color Sequence Editor. If you hover over a Keypoint, it will automatically select it.
This technology even works while you’re dragging a keypoint. Meaning that, while you’re dragging a keypoint, if you run into a keypoint over the way it might just start dragging that one instead. That is very annoying…
Re-production Steps
See the attached video
- Open an Empty Baseplate
- Select
StarterGui - At the top, select the “UI” Tab
- Click on “Style Editor” and create a empty style
- Click on Stylesheet and do “New > Pseudo Instance > UIGradient”
- Add a property named “Color”
- Click on “Color” to open the Color Sequence Editor
- Click anywhere on the Gradient to create a new Keypoint
- Create a lot of different colored Keypoints
- Then just slowly drag the keypoint around
- Observe
Expected Result
While dragging, it should not select other keypoints…
What if it just used the Qt one? ![]()
Actual Result
While dragging it can select other keypoints, because hovering over any keypoint will select it…
