Stylized Trees Leaves

I have been trying to make stylized trees, but need some help with the leaves.
When I import them from blender the plane is black

So I tried deleting the texture to get this

I added a SurfaceAppearance and it ended up looking like this

so I found out that increasing the transparency on the one with the blender texture makes the black go away but it makes the leaves look weird compared to what I have seen on youtube and google

Did you change the SurfaceAppearance to Transparent instead of Overlay? If yes, try making it a double sided mesh.
