When opening studio and clicking the category of “Recent” or “My Games”, you will never be presented a non-starting place as an option.
So if your universe has more than 1 place, you won’t be able to edit the other places through studio, you’ll need to find them on the site and then hit edit.

click a place you know has sub places, should make a dropdown, otherwise it might be a setting. Can do it just fine on my end.
Thank you for clarifying, I would have never figured this out myself. It would be nice if it was possible in the grid layout as well, but at least it is in fact possible.
