Brrrr! Why is it so cold outside?!
A major blizzard had struct Montserrat, causing a severe drop in temperatures! In this update, work together to keep the Light Photon Unit warm and maintain its temperature to warm up the place. Due to a major blizzard, keeping the Light Photon Unit temps stable is tricky, so work together by creating the MysteriousFuse to keep the LPU warm!
If the LPU continues to drop temperatures, this can lead to catastrophe as there’s no other ways to keep ourselves warm from the major blizzard… Not to mention, the facility can literally, become brittle and break into pieces and you can literally freeze to death.
What’s new in this update
Hazmat Suit Keeps You Warm
Every 60 seconds, a minute passes which you’ll loose health, you’ll loose more health depending on the attire your character is wearing. Hazmat suit from RadiSafe is capable of keeping you nice and toasty during this sudden weather change. However, be on the lookout for counterfeit ones, as those were proven to have ill-effect on keeping you warm or protecting you from radiation in the LPU chamber.
Plus, these hazmat suit can degrade over time, but you’ll be notified when it’s time to change to a new (and hopefully not a defective or counterfeit) hazmat suit.
Harder To Keep LPU Temps High
Because of the sudden weather change at Montserrat, having the LPU temp rise may be challenging, as it’s your only source of warmth.
Don’t let the LPU continue to drop in temps, or it will be very, very difficult to warm the LPU back up. During that time, parts of the facility can literally become brittle and break into pieces, which can cause a giant hole in the wall, or messy debris.
However, hard working people who attempts to keep the LPU warm shall receive “The Unsung Hero of Warmth” badge, which I will explain below.
The Unsung Hero Of Warmth
Awarded for the hard working players on keeping the LPU temps high to warm the place back to its “normal” temperatures, receives this badge.
Now, how do we keep the LPU warm you ask? It’s very simple, create the MysteriousFuse that’s capable of drawing more power from the LPU which causes its temp to rise. The more, the better. But be careful! Some players can sneaky take out the fuse which can cause the LPU to have a harder time climbing temps. So it’s your job to monitor the chamber for suspecting players who wants to cause a “Subzero Catastrophe” explained below.
Subzero Catastrophe
For the players who wish to cause chaos and wants game-breaking-logic-that-make-no-sense, this is for you. If the LPU continues to drop in temperatures, as said before, the facility can literally become brittle and break into pieces, which can cause a giant hole in the wall, or messy debris.
Plus, innocent players will freeze to death more often due to loosing the major source of warmth. If the LPU reaches below a specific temperature, all hopes are lost in returning the LPU’s temp back to normal. I guess we have to live with the facility constantly breaking into pieces and having players freeze to death.
"Sa'mores" For The Players
A popular food item that’s apparently used at campsites has made its way to DSRB. Players who joined our group, receives a free “Sa’mores” in their inventory. This tasty treat can not only heal you, but gives temporary immunity from the blizzard AND radiation for a short time. But treat your “Sa’mores” as a ration, because we have less in stock.
Your immunity is lost if it wears out or if you reset your character or die.
