Hello! I’m beginning to think of a cute little kingdom building game i’d like to develop, but I haven’t worked with chunk placing systems before. I’m just wondering if anyone has any thoughts of some resources of where I might start to understand a bit more? You know, building walls, and placing houses and such in a procedural map. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I’d greatly appreciate it. Thx!

All of these things require extensive researching and testing. I would highly recommend searching up Procedural Terrain Generation and do some diggging.

My primary focus would be figuring out the generation of buildings and things in a chunk based setting, so things dont overlap, etc. And how i might do that. But, this will be very helpful thx!
