I’ve got all the core game scripts completed and they are perfectly working.
The only issue I am facing is this huge empty space in game lobby.
The low poly game’s theme is context to Colors.
I don’t understand why you would make it so big in the first place though?! Also could you describe the game so we can figure out what would be needed?
You could make it so that everything is on one side, then the rest of the map is just the huge hole where the only way is to go down it. (I don’t know the game idea but I think thats a main part of it)
That’s a great idea but I wanted the players to play with their weapons in lobby if they’ve died from playing the game round. Do you think going with your idea will still be good?
[The players get teleported into the huge space inside of map to play the rounds]
Ah, I don’t think it would be better like that. You could do something like still have all of the main locations (store, lobby spawn, pets, whatever) on one side, then have a thin line around the whole arena still where players can take a speed-lane to go around the whole arena.
You could also have players be on top of the arena so they can look down with telescopes and whatnot.
" You could also have players be on top of the arena so they can look down with telescopes and whatnot. "
I’ve done this exact same thing. What I am cooking up in my mind is to add border lines with those wooden fences ( in the image provided above )around the huge oval shape part ( ROUND MAP ) so as to make it like players who have died are spectators watching the rest trying to complete the round.
Yeah! It looks much cooler! (Im biased toward ships) It kinda reminds me of a hay bale. (the color of the grass + the windmill) but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I think It looks unique!
When the player wins a round, they get teleported into the ship so as to make them feel proud or some kind of excitement. Should I change it into something else?
