I am currently working on a WIP game Sunset Vibes Mall and Theme Park and I would like some feedback. I am currently a solo developer (Used to have devs, money issues sadly). I am still trying to fix the coasters cause they don’t work. You can check out the game here:
Your thumbnails. You should have some Players actually in the thumbnails, but right now without any, it feels quite lonely and awkward.
I don’t feel that you should have a “TryOn” tool. If you wish for Players to try on your merch in-game, replace the tool with ProximityPrompts on your merch, that updates the Player’s avatar when they are interacted with.
I don’t really see a need to leave unfinished places open. Just cover them with invisible walls so Players don’t wander in.
Please replace using teleport pads with ProximityPrompts that only teleports you to a said area when it is triggered. It just isn’t very convenient for Players who accidentally touched a part, and they have to walk all the way back to the main area.
It’s strange that this area doesn’t have some kind of invisible wall to prevent the Player from falling. You should add some in these areas so it makes your game look more professional.
Why’s there just a random car sitting on the area above (see picture above)? There’s no way to regenerate the vehicle, and there isn’t a reason to place these here when the Player already has the ability to run.
The need of a tutorial - this game is really big, and therefore confusing to new Players. They wouldn’t know where to go for certain rides, they aren’t familiar with the areas, so try placing a simple tutorial for new Players, guiding them through certain areas etc.
On the outside of the Sunset Vibes Mall, it looks unnaturally empty. Perhaps add some trees, bushes, benches, rocks and more, instead of a green baseplate.
Why do teleport pads to certain areas not bring you back to the main area? It would be slightly inconvenient for Players having to reset and walk all the way back if they wanted to go back to the main area.
For the ZCoaster stand, it seems like several parts are unanchored. Do make sure to check your parts!
Teleport pads in the main area don’t work after multiple times. Do fix this as well!
There are several other bugs, all of which I was confused because I had no idea where these areas’ names are. I can see the effort being placed, but do try to compile a list in the future about certain parts of the game which you have tested and which you haven’t to keep track.
