Over the course of today, we will learn all the required information to obtain the Housekeeping position.
Please refrain from talking while I’m giving you this information, not only will it distract you, but it will distract your peers.
As housekeeping, you will be required to clean rooms, answer any questions, and keep a happy and positive environment.
When you enter a Guest’s room, simply refresh the TV to the Main Screen, open the blinds, and vacuum the floor.
Finally flush or turn off any water like the shower or sinks.
Try your best to be equipped with knowledge as guests may have questions for you that you may not know.
If you’re not sure how to answer a question you are asked by a Guest, ask an MR in the server, or a fellow co-worker.
When you decide to join on the hotel for a opulent shift, you will need the following tools:
Vacuum: This tool is used mainly for floor-cleaning purposes. A broom could be used for this purpose as well, but a Vacuum can make the Job a bit easier.
You will not use this Vacuum to intentionally bump into other players. Doing so will be a Demotion.
Spray Bottle- This mainly to clean the bathroom counters/floors/toilets. Do not use this item for spray people. If you happen to do it on accident, apologize genuinely to the guest.
Towel- This item is used for drying appliances that you sprayed.
Do NOT randomly go into Hotel Suites without the Guests permission. If you were not asked, or requested to do it, Don’t put yourself up to do so.
Whilst standing at the Housekeeping desk, guests will come up to you when they desire service.
You should have a kind and friendly greeting ready that gives the sensation of inviting.
Greetings can also be changed, as long as they remain professional and appropriate!
Here’s a Valid Greeting example:
Hello! Welcome to Sunview Hotel. How may I help you?
You will most likely encounter many trollers, spammers, and exploiters which you will need to learn to control.
Trollers get I I I warnings, such as trolling, refusing to stop, rude to staff, and so on.
Do NOT give invalid warnings such as: “being weird” or “eating loudly”.
Once someone receives I I I warnings, ask for a Security Officer to come and cuff them.
After that, request for an MR/HR on the group wall or Communications Server.
If you have safechat, or you’re a mobile user, We recommend asking another worker to do it for you.
