Super Hard Obby V2 feedback

Hello developers. I made a post around 5 months ago asking for feedback I have listened to most of them with minority of developers saying it’s boring and slow.

I have made major changes to every level to make it not boring and adding new features soon.

I would love your feedback if you are able to play my game now.

We are also hiring Moderators but this post isn’t suitable for hiring.

Thanks for your honest and kind feedback when you reply.

In my opinion the name is unoriginal and uninspiring, maybe change it to something shorter and catchier?

The menu is rather dull, maybe add brighter features and maybe a few drawings doing an obby in the background.
However I like the designs in the UI. That is pretty good.
Also when you are making UI, make sure to make either all the buttons the same size, or the play button be centered and largest.

This isn’t very easy to read and the sentences are different sizes, maybe switch this to a GUI tutorial.

The progress bar starts at 2% even when you’ve done nothing.
When you die all the UI disappears only to reappear for a second after you die again.

Once you die you lose your speed, well this is fine and all but it shouldn’t spawn you halfway through the obby without a speed pad.
Halfway through to stage 5 there are no new speed pads for when you die, which is a problem.

Why is there a free model avatar editor?

Textures are inconsistent and show no purpose nor theme to the actual game.

I watched someone join your game, play the second stage and leave, showing no signs of wanting to play again. Your game needs replay-ability and needs to look presentable.

I don’t think I even need to explain what is wrong in this picture.

Hey, thanks for your feedback I will make some edits to the obby and also try and consider a new name for the obby but at the moment have no idea.

This is a bug thanks for mentioning this I will Fix this soon.

The free model avatar editor was found in #resources and was edited slightly to allow game pass users access the shop (not sure if it’s working though) this was to allow players in all of our game have customised clothing.

That stage is the “island” stage and will fix the texture

This is the main issue with our game we are trying to find solutions but mostly my community enjoy my game so I need feedback on this.

And another bug thanks for reporting.

There’s nothing wrong with free models. They’re free models for a reason, for EVERYONES’ use!

I’ll rephrase that,

Why is there an avatar editor in an obby?

Thanks for your feedback this is just to bring more fun to the obby.

We collected feedback from users and votes stated 15 people wanted an avatar editor and personally I don’t see any issue with an avatar editor to an obby.

I personally have not played the game yet though I saw you were discussing replay ability, and I was thinking you should add like a parkour race so people can come back to win more races.

We have this idea planned already but thanks for the hint.

Seems like it could be a fun obby, but I found it quite hard to play since my mouse was forced unlocked. Was this intended?

There have been reports of shift lock stuck.

But so far I haven’t heard of issues with the mouse could you explain in more detail thanks.

The mouse won’t lock to the centre of the screen and let me turn my character by moving it around. This is likely because a GUI button has its .Modal property set to true.

Video demonstration (very choppy, but it gets the point across):

Thanks for reporting this our team will look into this and I’ll message you when we have fix this.

Hey I have looked into this bug and there is a hidden speed pad that supposed to change your speed back to normal on stage 5.

However I have moved the speed pad little further back so no confusion of bugs.

Thanks again for the clarification.
