Add some water to swim
Added a bell. It’s just a obstacle, but will later be a collectable.
Added a life gui.

Cropped the Heart image a bit

Added even more obstacles:
Wedges - Obstacles that you can slide.
Ladders - You can climb on these. These are just trusses, but will be redesigned in the future.
Boxes - Smash them to find helpful items. Smashing boxes will be possible in the future.

Continued work on Double Jump script.
Particle added to double jumping script
We’re still working on more (Coins, Pause, Outfits, etc.). We will implement more in the future.

Recolored the tail to match the cat’s skin.
Recolored the truss.
Recolored the box a bit.
Moved the bell a bit.
Continued work on double jumping even more.
Cropped the life image a bit.
Added the teleport pads, which are used to teleport to Meow Rifts.
Added coins, used to purchase new items.
You will be able to collect them in the future.

Added a title screen.
Added game logo to the title screen
Added three buttons to title screen.
These are: Play Game, Settings and Credits.
Play Game is the only button working right now. It takes you to Testing World.
The other buttons will be working in the future.
Added a Back button
Moved Testing World to its place
Scripted Play and Testing World buttons
Added music to the title screen

The truss in anchored now.
Add a currency gui.
This is where you can see your coins and bells.
Added a folder where coins and bells are here.
Added Coins and Bells values to the data folder.
The values still don’t save.
Added a Coin image to the ui.
Modified the stroke of the text.
Added scripts to the coin and bell texts.
The bell gui has also been added.
Touching a coin now adds one to the coin value.
Added a button to go to the title screen.
Continued more work on the double jump.
Everything else is still unfinished.
Streaming is now enabled.

Reduce baseplate size to 600 x 600.
Started working on the hub. It’s called Paw Island.
Added a button to go to testing world. It’s exclusive to Paw Island.
Paw Island has sand and grasses.
Added tree to the hub. They are grouped as Models.
Add some unions.
Added music to the Paw Island.
Added the four paths that take you to each world.
Added the first portal.
Added a foundation to the first world.
The sensor parts are the bells needed to enter.
We are still working on expanding the hub.
Added a button to go to Paw Island.
Added scripts that show or hide this button.

Added a NPC.
Added attachements and lots of Motor6Ds.
It’s just a placeholder.
You can also talk to them, but it’s not implemented yet.
The npc has also been added to the hub.
Portals have been updated with new features.
If there are enough bells, text outline will become black.
Otherwise the outline will be red.
We are working on adding a portal to the first podium.

Fixed Motor6Ds in the npc. Same as in paw island.
Fixed issue with script in portal.

Implented a dialogue gui.
Added a frame and a text.
Added a text constraint to avoid big texts.
Rounded the corners of the dialogue gui.
Added a gradient to the dialogue gui.
Added a frame with the NPC name text.
Added two layers of UIStroke.
Rotated the frame a bit.
Dialogue gui has also been added to Paw Island.
Added a clickable part to open the world gui.
The clickable part is colored depending on the portal you enter.
The portal image also colors in portals.
Added a portal image to the portal.
ClickDetector added to the portal.

Added a credits frame.
Added a button to hide the credits frame.
Added scripts to toggle the frame.
Added a logo to the credits frame.
Added a scrollable frame to the frame.
Added the textlabels with the usernames.
The credits frame is a work in progress, so expect more people working on the game.
Continued more work on double jump script
This change also applies to Paw Island.
Disabled warping of text in paw island portals.
Added a ui showing missions of Mitten Forest.
Add a frame to the gui.
Centered the frame.
Gradiented the frame.
Added text of mitten forest.
Stroke the text in 2 layers.
Added a world image.
Its just the Earth, but will be replaced with a different image.
Implented missions. Each mission is a bell.
Added image buttons of the missions.
Add a textlabel to each mission.
Added a localscript that opens the gui.
Script that opens the door when you have enough bells.
Fixed some issues.
Moved the script to the portal.

Added an options frame.
Added some buttons to the frame.
Rounded the buttons.
They are:

  • Sound Effects
  • Background Music
  • Depth of Field
  • Shadows
  • Speedrun Timer

Added a third back button.
Settings also work on test world and Paw Island.
Moved the script to the chapter 1 gui.
The script is finally working.
Added a dialogue script.
Added a invisible button to close the dialogue.

Added blu3skys to the credits frame.
Changed the game’s font to Fredoka.
No changes to the Life or currency hud yet, but it will be soon.
This change also applies to coin and the title screen.

Made changes to the credits gui.
blu3skys is renamed Nedi.
I am a designer of Mitten Forest.
Nedi is now a Scripter, Modeler and Level Designer.
Added Cloudy. Cloudy is a composer and a scripter.
Removed certain scripts from PlayButton.
Removed Level1Button and LevelPlayButton
Added Bells folder to ReplicatedStorage
Added a stringvalue inside
The Bells folder has also been added to Workspace.
Bells now have a script. They add Bells to the game.
Started working on Mitten Forest map and the pause menu.
There are 6 button in the pause menu. They are Wardrobe, Abilities, Artifacts, Bell Index, Settings and Title Screen.
You can track how the world is progressing.
When it’s finished, you will be able to press P to show it up.
Removed the Go to Testing World button.
Fixed issue in World 1 gui.

Increased server size to ten in the hub and four in the missions. This means more collaborators.
Added a back button in the course select for easier returning.
Added the other 3 portals.
Added the Badges and Resume button to the Pause Menu.
Darkened the contents a bit.
Added a Go to Hub button, making Paw Island easier to revisit.
Replaced bell stringvalues with boolvalues, as they didn’t work properly.
Collecting a bell should stop the music and play the jingle.
Adjusted the volume of the music.
We should be teleported to Paw Island after collecting a bell.

Started working on Mitten Forest map.
Moved the bell to the gap.
You can now talk to the NPC in mission levels.
Update the dialogue gui to match paw island.
Muted the world 1 music, we will get original music in the future.
Added the following menus to the Pause Menu:

  • Wardrobe
  • Abilities
  • Artifacts
  • Bell Index
  • Badges

They’re still a work in progress.
Added WIP signs.
Coins shouldn’t collide with the player.
Added a Sounds folder.
Collecting coins should play the sound.

Pause Menu now has gradients.
World name has 2 strokes.
Expanded Mitten Forest.
We know that’s not much.

Reduced life count to 3.
Bell icon is now dark without a bell and light within a bell.
Added a meow rift to the ui.
Added a portal icon.
Meow Rifts in the future, they will have treasure which contain outfits.
Paw Island has received a partial overhaul.
The platforms are double the size.
Correctly placed a tree.
We will be working more on extra mechanics and Mitten Forest soon.

Added scripts to mute sounds and music.
You can now even mute the music that plays when a bell is collected.
Added a new character, Mayor Paw.
Added probable rolling animations. They’re broken and need a replacement.
Continued work on double jumping, after over a month.
SFX can now be muted as well.
Expanded Mitten Forest.
Removed test world.
Added a swimming pool and water to swim.
Added a Bell Get GUI.
Added a image inside.
Added a script too.
Changed the skybox.
Added a skybox script.
This is the last update on Summer as we taking to Autmun.

We came back into development after 2 weeks! LONG TIME NO SEE!
Moved one of the balloons.
Double the balloons bounce height.

You can now press the button to toggle depth of field.
Continued expansion of Mitten Forest.

Notes

The game is still in early development.
Data saving is not yet implemented.
Bugs and glitches will be fixed as time goes.
The game should be released in Fall.

School will be starting for me in four days.
At that time, I won’t have much time to work on Super Meow World.
Time is running out for us, and which means it’s likely Late 2024 or Early 2025.
