As a Roblox developer, it is currently too hard to import files which stray from the limited upload selection currently presented.
In particular Roblox only allows .obj and .fbx for 3D meshes and .mp3 and .ogg for audio. (Images have diverse enough a selection.)
For audio, formats like .wav and .flac and for 3D meshes, formats like .stl and .glb would be much appreciated.
Right now I have to go though an online file converter because the software I often use to create audio and 3D meshes in isn’t within the two-type scope Roblox currently uses. If there are specific technical reasons to support such few formats I understand, but if the circumstances allow I’d like more file formats.
If Roblox is able to address this issue, it would improve my development experience because I would save time and even storage space over having to convert every file I want to upload.
