Surface Appearance Size

Hello, i want to get pbr texture onto car’s hood, but it makes my pbr texture very small, any ways to scale it up?

You can’t change the size of surface appearances as far as I’m aware, however you can change the size of the uv map on the object in your 3d modeling software. It looks like your object uvs are very small, which is causing the surface appearance to be small as well. Assuming you made the hood, just go to the file in blender (or other software), find the uv mapping of the hood, and scale the uv map up. This should make it so that when you re-import the object, the surface appearance will change size. (If this doesn’t make sense, I’m sure that there are plenty of tutorials on scaling object uvs that you can find on YouTube). Also, if you didn’t make the hood, just export it as a .obj to your software and do the steps above to get the same results. Good luck!
