- Describe the bug. Describe what is happening when the bug occurs. Describe what you would normally expect to occur.
Before uploading the place to Team Create, the SurfaceGui was showing in Edit mode.
- How often does the bug happen (Everytime/sometimes/rarely)? What are the steps that reproduce the bug? Please list them in very high detail. Provide simple example places that exhibit the bug and provide description of what you believe should be the behavior.
I have tried closing Team Create, restart my computer, and check the Enabled property of the SurfaceGui - none of those fixed the problem. The problem occurs when the SurfaceGui is parented to StarterGui, and is only present in Edit mode. It displays fine in F5 play mode, and when parented to the adornee, it also shows fine in Edit mode.
Furthermore, creating a new SurfaceGui from scratch with a single frame in it did not solve the problem either, as it is also not being rendered properly (hereby not showing in Edit mode if parented to the StarterGui service)
- Where does the bug happen (www, gametest, etc) Is it level-specific? Is it game specific? Please post a link to the place that exhibits the issue.
I have experienced this issue on the main site. The place which is affected by this is Minitropolis - Roblox

The SurfaceGui is supposed to show on the transparent red area, of which the Back surface is pointing towards the camera.
ShowDevelopmentGui is toggled on in StarterGui.
- For graphics bugs, it is sometimes helpful to know your system specs, especially graphics card.
I have a GeForce GTX 780 Ti, with a driver version of 378.49. The default graphics card is Intel(R) Core™ i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz.
- When did the bug start happening? If we can tie it to a specific release that helps us figure out what we broke.
The bug occured after I published the place as a Team Create place.
- Anything else that you would want to know about the bug if it were your job to find and fix it.
My co-developer, Patrickblox, cannot see the SurfaceGui either in Edit mode.
