Whenever a MeshPart
with a SurfaceAppearance
that relies on the AlphaMode
set to “Transparency” is inserted via the server (for example by using :Clone()
) the MetalnessMap
, NormalMap
and RoughnessMap
aren’t replicated to the client. This issue doesn’t seem to be happening for SurfaceAppearance
meshes that do not rely on the Transparency AlphaMode
.
In this gif you can see that the Road’s SurfaceAppearance properly replicates while the Fence’s SurfaceAppearance doesn’t:
