Swimmable Water Part

How would i make a Part that you can swim inside of?
Like in Flood Escape 2 by Crazyblox?
So its easy to control and has no weird quirks?
So basicly if you dont know what i mean by that, somethig that is kind of like smooth terrain water but as a part.
Do you guys have any tips?

You can make a no-collide part though not sure if this is what you are looking for…

Nope.
I mean a part that you can ACTUALLY swim inside of.
Not just walk trough it

In that case there is no specifically designed part in which you can “swim through” With Roblox you can use the default water terrain however that is all Roblox provides. The rest is up to you.

Make it can-collide off, and make a swimming animation when you collide with the part under. I’m not sure it’ll work, hope you understand though.

It may be possible to create water terrain cells that are transparent. Then, you can place a CanCollide = false part in the cell’s place. This could be a solution.

I’ve seen this question many times before. If I recall correctly, the solution boiled down to something along the lines of changing to the Swimming HumanoidStateType and usage of Body Movers (for the sake of simplicity, I prefer VectorForce, a constraint Body Mover).

btw, you cannot set HumanoidStateType to swimming because the character is not in water

Have you tested this or are you just saying? All HumanoidStateTypes can be changed to via ChangeState. What you may be experiencing is interference with other StateTypes being set.
