Running older versions
Older versions of Sword Admin are not officially supported and will not receive important fixes and security improvements. See this to explain why. Older versions is defined as any version prior to the last major release, for example, if the latest version is v8.0.3, versions v8.0.0-3 are supported, but v7.3.1 will not be supported, despite its recency.
Supported does not mean best security, and updates. Supported just means they are backwards compatible.
