when i rotate said sword in an axis, it rotates while also moving, so for example if i put it at 90 degrees on the x axis it wont even be in the characters arm anymore, do i have to animate it in the roblox animator?
(more information would help)
I’m assuming the problem you are encountering is because the origin of the sword is the origin of the world instead of the base of the sword.
how would i change that origin point?
did that and its the same thing
Try moving it manually. If you shift right-click you can move the 3d cursor. Once the 3d cursor is where you want the origin to be then right-click the sword > Set origin > origin to 3d Cursor.
nope, still the same thing, i still dont know if it helps but there are 2 rigs, the r6 rig and the handle with a humanoid root part
Could you provide screenshots of what you are trying to do?
trying to spin the sword in the hand without having to move it to be aproximately where it should be
are you in blender or Roblox studio?
well im trying to do that in blender
So when you move the origin of the sword, to the base/hilt/handle or the sword. and rotate it (object mode) It rotates out of the character’s hand>
(screenshots would help)
It seems to be rotating around the handle… Move it to the base of the sword
Now I look kinda dumb… You are a life saver thanks so much
No problem~ Glad I could help!
