Take-down system

Hello developers! i am attempting to make a take-down system, y’know like what the main character in an action movie does, i have several issues,

  1. i have like NO basic knowlage of lua coding beside unanchoring and some other minor stuff
  2. and there are NO tutorials that can help.

anything can help! (copy paste scripts, tutorials, ETC)

  1. If you have no basic knowledge on scripting, i recommend you take a look at the devhub/devforum tutorials/ youtube tutorials on basic roblox lua scripting and try to work you way up to your take down system .

  2. There really isn’t a specific tutorial for everything, so that’s on you as the developer to gather up knowledge of scripting to create your own solutions.

This is where you need to start first. The basics.
I know, obvious right? You probably don’t want to hear this.

But as the person above me said there isn’t a specific tutorial for everything. There are so many different ways a scripter could go about making what you said but you need to understand the components and language of Lua scripting first and how you can use it to achieve what you want going forward.

Start simple too, this seems like a rather complex first endeavor you’re going into. There are many very great youtube tutorials on scripting which I recommend but AlvinBlox is my personal recommendation to you, he has several playlists. I wish you luck.
