Today, shortly after I updated my TalentHub profile to include new images, my account was moderated for including offsite links. The offsite link in question was an embedded link to my DevForum account.
About a week ago, I was given an error message saying something along the lines of “no offsite links are allowed” after I attempted to update my Talent Hub description. I figured it was just a website error and gave up, forgetting about the encounter until now.
For a few months now, my description has always included an embedded link to my DevForum account and I’ve had no problems.
I am assuming this is just a bug, however it seems extremely odd that such links that lead to Roblox websites are now being automatically moderated.
(For clarification)
- I am 100% sure this was the link that caused moderation action to occur, especially with the error message previously occurring.
- The moderation action was nothing serious, just the simple “click here to agree to the terms of service and your account will be reinstated”.
