Tank suspension

I have been working on and off my game “Space Mercs” for the better half of a year and I decided to start working on a tank.

The original tank I had found on the workshop but I have heavily modified it I had finished the shooting system really quick and started working on the suspension. In most games the tank treads are static meshes and don’t move dynamically so I thought I could try and make some. I’m pretty happy with the result on the treads but it could use some polish.

Any tips or suggestions other than driving SFX and FX?

This looks really good! It might be cool to see some recoil when the tank fires ‎:P

I rewatched the video and realised you can’t really see it because of the camera angle but it’s there. The recoil is applied to the barrel which uses that look vector to slightly throw it back towards the turret centre. I increased it for better visual. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think the tank should feel heavy and bulky, other than that it is very cool!

I like this idea, I have tried in the past to do this but i’m not too sure on how to do this, I have tried increasing the throttle slowly based on speed and increasing the actual weight of tank. When I did this the tank refused to move whatsoever. When I enabled massless it started to move again. Suggestions to how I could do this would be great!

Also, sorry for the late response I didn’t get a notification lol.
