Team Create is kicking me out

Trying to join a team create, I am being kicked out and listed as multiple sessions by other people.

Even trying to join a separate team create, I am being kicked off.

Restarting studio may temporarily fix the problem. If it still persists, you should check your wifi router to ensure it is working properly and stable. Roblox Studio team create is very sensitive to wifi speed. If your wifi speed ever changes rapidly(ex. 50 mbps down to 20 mbps in ~1 second) then studio might disconnect you from Team Create.

None of those are applicable. PC was restarted, all other sessions logged out via settings.

Hello sorry that you are having issues with Team Create. I have a couple questions

  1. Can you join any Team Create experience?
  2. Can you try turning off and on Team Create

Also what is the universe id of universe that this is occurring on?

  1. I am not able to join any Team Create that is not mine.
  2. I don’t own this specific place to do that, but I have tried two separate universes.

We can shutdown the Team Create session which will kick everyone out of the session which should help you rejoin it. Would you like us to do this?

Alternatively, you can ask the owner of the place to turn off and on Team Create.

If you can try that please. We just cycled team create on 6469994720 and it still kicked me out.

Sorry for the delay, I’ll be working on shutting down the Team Create server for this universe. I’ll keep you updated on the progress

It doesn’t give an error of any sort. It lets me move my camera for maybe 2 seconds, then closes instantly. Where do I find the studio logs?

I would recommend the process:

  • First delete everything in the log directory so it is easy to find the correct file in the next step
  • Open Studio and try to join the game, then close Studio as soon as you get booted
  • There should now be a single log file in the directory mentioned in my link. DM that to either me or @weeek53 and we can take a closer look at it.

Thanks for the logs, based on those we are now able to see what the direct cause of this crash is but it isn’t clear yet what we can do to fix it. Currently talking with some other people internally to figure this out. I’ll post another update here once we know more.

I think we have found the problem now, looks like it is probably the New Luau Type Solver beta.

To correct this:

  • Open up Studio through the desktop or start menu shortcut, not by directly opening a place through Creator Dashboard
  • Go to File → Beta Features
  • Scroll down to ‘New Luau type solver’ and uncheck it
  • Close Studio to make the beta change apply, if you join without restarting Studio it will still crash

After that you should be good to open your place again. If either that beta is not on or turning it off does not solve your problem let us know and we can look into it some more.

Gosh!! THANK YOU!!! (Even tho I use team create as a solo dev) I could finally continue working on Essential that I have been hoping to open source. I literally tried my laptop to edit code after my desktop didn’t work to open Studio. Please fix this issue asap. I was stuck at this for two weeks. I didn’t know why until now.
