It would be awesome if there was a sound, maybe a little ping when someone chats something in the TeamCreate chat.
Currently I have to check quite often to see if there’s something new, and I still miss things, especially if I’m bug testing.

This is something that’s actually a planned feature already!

For now, if you have 2 monitors, you can always pop out the chat window and put it on another screen.
