Every time I launch a local server test, “Temp read failed” errors get spammed in the edit mode window’s output. There appears to be exactly one error for every Sound instance in the DataModel in edit mode, so the error will be duplicated if there are many Sounds with the same SoundId.
Hi,
Thanks for the report.
Which platform is this on, Windows or MacOS?
Do you have any non-ASCII characters in your Windows or MacOS username?
Windows and my username is just EmeraldSlash without any non-ASCII characters
Thanks, that will be very helpful
I’m unable to reproduce using these same asset ids.
Are you able to post an .rbxl file that shows the problem?
Did you just recently upload these assets?
Does this happen 100% of the time?
It looks like this error is most likely to occur if an asset was recently uploaded but has not been moderated yet or if you are having general network problems.
I believe this happens 100% of the time in experiences under the following groups: Blοx Universe - Roblox and [Project] Ha Group - Roblox
For example 🔨 Realistic SP [Development Place] 🔨 - Roblox and Hand RP Dev Place - Roblox
These are not new assets, and I have been observing this for a while so I doubt it’s due to any sort of transient thing like network problems or asset uploads.
It doesn’t seem to happen in an empty unpublished place file with the same sounds.
Thanks.
Does this only happen under local server tests or does it happen during ordinary gameplay or any other situation?
Only when I press the button to start a local server test.
