I was surprised by Paracolax’s enthusiasm while he was meeting the details of the task. I hired Paracolax to get a music system done on May 8 2021, with a deal it would be finished by May 10. Been reassured by him that it can 100% be finished on 11; Paracolax started ghosting as I kept asking (one time a day) for progress, considering he was long over his deadline. By May 17 he blocked me.
Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re looking for uncertainty and delays.

Hi. At the time we agreed for me to finish it by turned out to have been filled by other things, which my bad organisation on my end but I still mostly did the system. We then agreed a different time to finish it by because weekends are the only time I can do things. And then turns out last weekend I had to juggle exam revision and some of my family came round which I was only informed about on the Saturday they actually turned up. But I checked discord today and I was removed from the group chat and I haven’t blocked you??

But, you are still wrong if you agree on something or a deadline you must complete it there’s no excuses for that it’s just a job as a Long term/Short term Developer.
We totally understand your a busy man but if you can’t complete the job don’t do the job or close down your portfolio. Plus what made it even worse is that you ignore his commission. Evidence:
Once, you agree to something you got to stick to the agreement. And make time for it.

I’m honestly just telling the truth! Nothing more than that. Reason why I had to join in this chat because I had something similar to this or I had similar issue when the Developer was too busy to complete his job or finish the work so he went AFK for long time and never completed it. Or was very late at his deadline.
This isn’t meant to attack @Paracolax or anyone else! I just trying to understand and help him out for better understandings for the future.
By the way, I would love to hire you if you are interested but you got to be active on the job and I need work.

Thank you for your feedback! It’s nice to get multiple opinions on things. Unfortunately for me, a ton of things popped up after agreeing a deadline but before the deadline ended which is why I subsequently closed my portfolio. Yes I do agree I handled the situation badly. And an off topic note, I probably wont be available for a while due to several reasons so I would recommend to look for someone else if you need what your doing to be done soon.
