Good morning/afternoon/evening dear Devs! Me and my friend are currently working on a game (still a secret, wait for news!) and I thought about all of those plug-ins that make Devs life much easier, but then I realised that most of them cost Robux, so I wanted to ask if while the game is still in development, creating a Donation Stand would be a good idea (so we can get Robux to buy plug-ins to make our life easier and our games better) if any of you have the answer/any suggestions feel free to reply, thanks in advance, and have a good day/night
Note: I’m not trying to create a PLS Donate game, I never wanted to and I never will
Probably the best way to make a donation stand would be to build something kind of like the booths in Pls Donate with the donation buttons being developer products instead of gamepasses so people could donate the same amount multiple times.
No I don’t want to create a PLS Donate, it’s gonna be some kind of “lobby” where you are able to donate until the game is done, and yeah, thanks for the tip!
Also sorry for the late reply but I was sleeping
you can use MarketplaceService:PromptProductPurchase()
for the donation, as it allows the player to purchase a Developer Product for Donation
for more information about this then check MarketplaceService | Roblox Creator Documentation
Ok, thanks @VSCPlays, but I don’t need a way to create e the donations, I wanted your opinions to know if it was a good idea, but still
Thanks
it’s a good idea because Dev Products can be purchased too many times until you don’t have enough robux to buy the item
donation.rbxm (22.9 KB) Model if needed
Ok thanks, I don’t want the model, I want to do it by myself/with my friend because we like creating things by ourselves, thanks for your feedback!

Thanks to all of you again and behave a good day/night
I didn’t tell you to create a Pls Donate, I told you to recreate one of the booths to some degree and use that for donations.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood
