Guess who just got their weekend ruined? ME
So I have this account which was the first one I ever made (I made it back in late 2016 and is worth well over a few thousands of dollars with items that aren’t available), ROBLOX decided to terminate it without any warning right? I contacted support, this is what I get:
So, I got my account deleted for being affiliated (???) with other users that do break the rules, so it wasn’t even my fault in the first place? Great, good job ROBLOX.
Now I have to panic because I have only 30 days to recover my account or else ROBLOX will just say “uhh no ur 30 days have expired u can create a new acc bla bla bla” typa stuff, I want someone who can legitimately help me, and I hope and really hope that this post doesn’t get taken down due to being on the wrong topic or something like that.
I respectfully ask for a moderator to help me solve this case, thanks.
Unfortunately, if you were affiliated with other users who created any type of inappropriate content on the platform, you’ll get terminated. That’s a rule, and they’ll say you’re responsible for this.
This case happened multiple times on the DevForum.
Another user was having fun with his friend in Roblox Studio in an experience.
His friend created an inappropriate model and uploaded it to the experience. Suddenly, the user and his friend both got their accounts terminated even though the user didn’t create it.
A team of developers was using legal methods to earn Robux. One of the team members used an illegal method. The entire team got terminated.
Another user who was a group owner. They did very bad stuff in his group and immediately gave group ownership to one of the group members. The original group owner got away with what they did, and the member got terminated.
Another group owner made a very inappropriate role for a certain member of the group. They added the member to the role. The member got terminated, even though the member couldn’t have control over this.
Yes, that’s true, you can get terminated just for affiliating with other users who break the rules, or participating in the content they created.
If that was true, I don’t think you can appeal that. They’ll say the consequence will not be adjusted.
Sure it’s not your fault, but they just count it as your fault.
Can you also please tell us what happened exactly? Whose accounts were you affiliated with? What inappropriate content/behavior did they create? How did you affiliate with them?
I haven’t participated in any game with sexual content I’m sure of that.
I haven’t shared a single game with any of my friends.
Am I able to appeal? I don’t see why am I the one taking the blame.
Not gonna lie if that is true it’s a shame, very bad of roblox.
For the last question, I don’t have much information I almost never touch my oldest account, I log in from time to time just to find out I got my account terminated.
I have friends with bypassed shirts is that okay? I still don’t think it’s my fault, and in that case, why didn’t they get terminated but I did?
Also, I never gave anyone team create, I never work on that account, I’m currently using the account I use for my work with games and comissions.
As of typing that, I realized that one of my developers at my group nano projects got terminated.
Well I don’t think I can appeal that, shoot.
Thanks anyways for the help, this made me learn that I have to use group holders.
Then you’ve probably been spam reported by a hater, or you’ve been hacked.
If you’re sure that you haven’t done any of that, you might be able to appeal.
It is. Their moderation is absolutely trash.
Check the friends with these bypassed shirts. If they got terminated, then you’ve probably got terminated because of their shirts. If they didn’t, then you got terminated for another reason.
Well, that actually might be the reason. Did you team create with anyone for the commissions?
Do you remember anything you’ve both done together? It might be the reason, especially if you both were terminated in the same time.
