Terms Of Service Violation Bug

I keep getting emails about somehow violating Roblox Community Standards. The email provides a link to see your violations, but the link doesn’t show you anything.

How am I supposed to know what I supposedly did and correct without even knowing what the heck I did? This has to be a bug because I know I’m not getting all these emails without them telling me what I did wrong.

Expected behavior

I want the emails to tell me why I’m receiving the email so that I can correct what I supposedly did wrong.

Sometimes this will show up for an asset that got moderated briefly, then reviewed again and unmoderated automatically.

I get them from time to time for texture assets and still don’t know why.

seems so

do you have another account under the same email if so check that too

Usually when you get these messages, your onsite inbox will also get a message. Did you check there?

I do as well. Have you checked your alt accounts linked to the same email? I get this even thoyugh I have and none broke the tos.

A friend of mine got that email a couple of months ago for his old account that was deleted in 2017 but was still linked to the email address and received a copyright strike on something 8 years later. I would do a Roblox account reminder (Roblox) to see what accounts you have linked to the email address at which you received that email, and then go through each account from there to see which one had a moderation action taken.

@DonaldDuck5150 Is it possible you’re logged in using a different account than the one that generated the violation? What happens when you click on the link while logged into Roblox using the violating account?

In the past i heard atleast 20+ people say the same thing both inside #help-and-feedback:platform-usage-support and on third party platforms like twitter

I doubt that they aren’t logged into the right account to be honest

I have three and only three accounts linked to my email where I’ve gotten the message. All of them show the second image (Violations & Appeals Image) when the link is clicked. I’ve only uploaded assets on two of them, but I checked all three just to make sure.

And that’s not the only problem. The problem is that it should tell you what account has broken Roblox Community Standards instead of the most vague message possible.
