I have terrain that is much bigger than this and it gets super laggy. Any tips on how to optimize it?

If having it there serves no gameplay purpose, culling all the stuff under the surface may help. It’s good practice to do too imo.

Terrain adds a lot of triangle complexity, so using it heavily will always cause a bit of CPU overhead
just decided not to use terrain
