^ expanding on this as being invasive: i’ve heard companies (such as the tea app as a notable example) say “oh, we just need your selfie or id for a second and then it’s deleted!” and yet we still end up with data breaches like this, i really don’t trust companies with my information and never had nor wanted to - this is a step too far for a core feature of roblox which has existed for years to be off limits unless you give up your privacy :<

Early next year, users will be required to be age checked to chat on Roblox, including Experience chat, Voice chat and Party chat.

The recent discussions anywhere on web about people’s ID, etc being leaked/stolen ain making this the brightest choice
