Can you all stop restricting communication on the platform without a viable alternative or solution other than giving my private information up? I suspect many people will bypass or try to bypass this.

The discord breach wasnât related to that part.
The discord leak consisted of banned users sending their ID to Discord support directly for their accounts to be unbanned. As one of their support agents was bribed, those IDs were leaked. IDs submitted through their proper channels (like Roblox does with Persona) werenât leaked as no employees can see that data.

100%. People act as if roblox is the problem. Anywhere on the internet which has some form of communication means that predators can be a problem. The only solution is to remove chat or to have ID/Age verification.
So many people lie about age when signing up, so having chat restrictions based on age (without verification) is pretty ineffective.
if you think ID verification is an effective way to help with user safety then i have a bridge to sell you

Blame what happened a few months ago. Where the whole world started criticizing roblox for not doing enough for user safety.
What did they expect was going to happen? That roblox was going to magically find some sort of solution to have player communication but ensure that on one did anything bad?

Why what wouldnât work? Convincing most parents to start taking a much bigger interest in their kids use on devices? Most of the parents I doubt even have a good enough level of technology literacy to even be able to competently do that.
