How will this affect developers’ ability to get direct feedback from the player? I will not be able to receive feedback from my younger audience anymore now.
Has Roblox taken this into consideration? As the vast majority of game developers are 16+, and vast majority of players are <13.
Literally what else could be done? How can anyone convince Roblox to stop overcomplicating things and instead try to just. moderate better?

Like I’ve stated in my previous message: trial by fire. Let them reap what they sow, given their heels are dug in the dirt now with the tweet and article. There isn’t much you CAN do unless something bigger than them takes initiative.

this only matters if the developer bothers to add it + it says “influence the likelihood that users who are able to chat are matched together” not guarantee you’ll be in servers with people your age

“pretty sure” isnt gonna cut it when this feature may genuinely kill the site from separating the playerbase, if they do make it so ALL servers are separated by age in ALL GAMES then this update may be ok (still very bad, but not as bad as it could be)

This topic has been covered many times on social media and I deemed them fake until I noticed this topic. I would like to summarize some of their reactions:
The baby face dilema
Many adults have faces with childish features and then there’s the polar opposite: children that look like they fought the Vietnam war. The Ai would probably do a horrible job at determining age from your face, at least that’s what many people think. (pay attention to the sentence, because if people aren’t sure of something, they won’t do it)

I’m sorry, but even if you emphasize the “Our partner deletes data within 30 days”, I still don’t trust you with my vital information, mainly in this deepfake era. What if the data gets breached?
It's easily bypassable
The children would just go ask their parents for a picture, or you can just have bad lighting but not too bad, so the Ai wouldn’t complain about it.
Generally, this is a horrible idea to force selfie verification on users.

developer here since 2019, halted all development progress until this is added, if it does, im terminating all my projects, moving to other platforms. Thanks roblox.
