As some of you may have already seen on Twitter (or secretely known for a longer time), @Wsly and I have been working on a new projects for a few months: Ethan’s Arcade Minigames. We’re going to release it this Friday and pretty much everything is done already. Unfortunately though it’s hard to get a feeling for how the game’s economy will turn out once the game is released. The small club we’ve tested with so far isn’t really representative of a real server full of kids so we don’t know how quickly people will gain currency through playing. We’ve therefore decided to open up the gates to you guys tomorrow (Thursday)! If you like minigames and want to get a sneak peak before the game actually releases then this is your chance! We don’t have an exact time tomorrow that we will be testing, but testing will happen (probably sometime in the morning/early afternoon for all dem 'Muricans here). I’ll make another post in this topic tomorrow when play testing actually starts so keep an eye out! In order to enter the game you’ll have to request access to this group. Please respond below when you’ve requested access so we know who to add. We won’t be accepting people into the group until the testing actually starts because we have some code in place to automatically give us feedback regarding the rate at which people gain currency. Unfortunately the number of players per server affects this rate a bit so we don’t want there to be servers running with only a few players. (So if you’re currently already in the group, please be nice and sit back ;))
Once again, I’ll let everyone know in this topic when testing actually starts. Feedback and bug reports are of course also welcome. Thanks in Advance for participating!
