Testing 2 Player Low-End PC

Hello, I’m not sure if this is the correct category, (someone correct me if I’m wrong, please.) but I have a question about testing multiple-player interaction on a low-end PC. My PC isn’t ideal at all, for reference, it’s a laptop and not a good one at that. I’ve tried looking for other topics like this, but I haven’t been able to find any.

Anyway, whenever I try to test multiplayer in studio, it can take 5-10 minutes to load up for just two players. I know the obvious answer is “just get a better PC”, which I do plan on doing eventually, but for the time being, what can I do as an alternative? Thanks, I appreciate any help.

There really isn’t a whole lot of alternatives, publishing and testing in game with a friend is probably your best bet in this case. If you don’t have anyone to test with you could use a second account on mobile, alternatively ( I don’t know if this still works ) but you used to be able to run two roblox instances on your computer by using the windows app and regular roblox.

I recommend testing with just one player to make sure everything works first. In the rare cases where you need to test with 2 players, then you click test, take a break away from your pc, and come back when it’s done loading the 3 windows.

It’s very rare that you would need to test with multiple players.

Sometimes you need to test your game with more than one Player. Currently I am working on a Round based game with Trading, Player Ready System, Teleportation and much more. You cannot test that Stuff with just one Player.

That sound terrible. I remember that my PC Crashed when I tried starting a Local Server with just 3 Players. So I searched for my old Phone inside my wardrobe, created an alt Account and use this Phone as my second player. Basically you can use everything that allowing running Roblox as long you don’t Steal the Android Smart-TV from your Mother and use it as Client.

The more unusual way would be using Cloud-Computing. You may know Cloud-Gaming but there are also Platform where you can host your very own Computer with a High performance. You can Control it Remotely with no Latency as long you have good Internet. Keep in mind, that cost Money monthly, unless you have a Friend who Hosting a PC for Free.

Thanks, this is probably the best I’m going to get at the moment. If anyone has a better solution let me know. Thanks again for all the advice.
