Testing a restaurant game

Hello there! I am currently working on a restaurant type game the revolves around pasta. I would like to know if there are any ways I can improve the game?

So far I achieved over 250 visits while I spent ~520 robux on advertisements with little results.

Other than my school friend helping with some buildings, I built this game from the ground up in around a month in July after being unsatisfied with talent hub and hiddendevs.

Feedback :
As shown in the game,

  • Graphics : 2.5/5 It looks a bit off.
    Comments :
A warmer lighting, reflections on objects would be great additions.

  • Map : 3/5 It’s ok.
    Comments :
There isn’t much to see, the chef area needs more details.

  • Interface : 2/5 It doesn’t quite fit the game.
    Comments :
The colours are too bright, there should be more styling.

  • Gameplay : 3/5 The idea is ok, quite confusing to play though.
    Comments :
The guides page is not quite engaging to look through, consider adding a proper walkthrough tutorial.

  • Overall Rating : 3.3/5 It’s playable, but not appealing.

–here’s some advice… other than my rating template.

  • Add sprinting, you need it.

  • The building needs more detailing, the colours are fine, but there isn’t much to textures and minor props such as ‘chairs and tables’.

  • The outside should have more surrounding scenery or possibly gameplay additions like ‘throwing out the trash or collecting ingredient boxes’.

  • The lighting needs improvement, add beams to make your game more immersive, reflections on the floor and seating would be great.

  • Gameplay lacks a tutorial, it was pretty difficult to understand even with the guide, a walkthrough would make a huge difference.

  • The actual cooking part is pretty cool, better models and physics would be nice.

  • The NPCs should have different reactions and order when seated, not from the front desk.

  • There should be a day-night cycle with ‘rush hours’ to further enhance gameplay.

I would recommend taking it slow and improving it one-by-one as your game is still in an early state.

Attempt to implement ideas that you believe are not too difficult to create and abandon those which are you seemingly struggling to do so.

Tutorial needed asap!
Dragging kinda doesn’t work,
A cooking book that explains what “Marinara” is.

This game appears to not be playable on mobile devices. I tried minutes to attempt to grab the ingredients but it was simply not possible as you’re not really able to drag stuff on mobile as you’re just moving the camera. Additionally a tutorial during the beginning would be very welcomed, as when I joined I didn’t know what to really do until I found the guide in the menu.
