Texture mapping basic mesh part

Hi all,

I have a very basic mesh part of which you can see here:

I want to texture this with either a Texture or Decal object so that multiple colors can be assigned to it. Something to this effect:

The trick is that I want to dynamically control this within Roblox Studio. So far, my attempts to create a decal that correctly maps has failed. I’m not experienced in this.

I would greatly appreciate anyone who knows how to accomplish this. The meshID is rbxassetid://6739565705 and the 3D model is attached to this post. Thank you!
