Texture works on SpecialMesh but not MeshPart

I have a texture that I’m trying to apply to a MeshPart, however whenever I put the ID in, the part stays black. However, when I apply it to a SpecialMesh, it works. I’m not sure what the problem is. Another thing I noticed is that when I change the BrickColor of the MeshPart, it stays black for some reason and doesn’t match the selected BrickColor.

Any help is appreciated.

I’m not sure if special meshes work on mesh parts, pretty sure mesh parts only take FBX and OBJ values. If you want color I suggest using FBX.

have you put the ID in properly? no mistakes?
