Hi,
[UPDATE Number 2: I spoke to soon on the below update. When I go back into my project, I get the same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.]
[UPDATE: Okay, this is weird. I just tried again and everything worked. I didn’t change anything. Maybe someone can chime in here. Do I have to wait a while, after uploading textures, before I try using them in Studio? ]
I created a mesh of a moss covered rock in Blender and exported as an FBX. I was then able to load it into Studio as a meshpart just fine. (See screen shot below)
I then attached a surfaceappearance object to it, in order to use Color, Normal and Roughness textures for the rock.
When I add the asset ID, I get the below error message (the error for the color map is shown, but the same happens for all three files).
15:05:14.968 Unable to load Workspace.MeshPart.SurfaceAppearance - ColorMap ‘rbxassetid://10980845553’ (Error: HTTP 403 (Forbidden)). - Studio
15:05:14.968 Unable to generate ‘Workspace.MeshPart.SurfaceAppearance’ due to some of the textures being unavailable. Change a TextureId property to retry. - Studio
(see screen shot as well)
I saved the texture maps as JPGs. When that didn’t work, I saved them as PNGs. The problem still persists.
Here’s a screen shot of the images in my inventory.
Thanks,
Leif W
