I don’t think I even need to elaborate on this, but I will.

The forums are a crucial part of ROBLOX – just take a trip to C&G/ATR to see how active they are. Just because we as developers have access to this awesome forum doesn’t mean they rest of ROBLOX has that luxury. The “Thank You” button plays such a crucial role here at RbxDev, and it could play a crucial role on the main site. Most of the posts on threads are usually “SUPPORT!” etc – especially on S&I, and it would make it more clear whoever the community agreed with more since clicking the “Thank You” button is easier to click than making a new post.

I agree with the idea, but:

You might be surprised to hear that only a pretty small portion of the community has ever actually used the forums over time. You can assume that the figure is always well under 10% of users.

But there is next to nothing but bad posts on the main site that don’t deserve the ability to be thanked.

And that’s exactly why the Thank You button exists. Not everyone wants to bump the thread and write a paragraph response saying why they support something.

“Hey guys, look at this neat thing you can do with scripting!”

“I suggest ROBLOX adds new materials!”

Maybe if people were able to just click thank you instead of posting rage-inducing posts, it would be a better place.

I dont think the Thank you button alone will fix the issue.

But if this ever was implemented, PLEASE dont make a thank you count anywhere. That would make things counterproductive.
