Okay so the AI assistant feature sucks as I expected.

Also it cannot read script that is on opened tab
so you gotta copy paste and send the code to the ai AND THEN its gonna say that the message was too long like naaahhhhhh

Iāve tried. Its fine that the assistant sucks, I anyway donāt need help at all from an ai I can script things myself.
I just wanted to test out the feature.
You can select code in the script editor and right click it and click Explain Code

Still kinda useless for me since thatās my code but I guess this might be useful for other developers when they use someone elseās code maybe from free models.
I figured the AI works better if you just ask it questions related to game development instead of letting it write code for you.
If you want an AI that writes code for you you should use the in-studio code assistant instead.

Assistant was more intended for asking questions rather than letting it do things for you I think.
Yeah youāre right. But for some reason the āin-studio code assistantā doesnāt work for me.
I remember when that feature was out and I enabled it from beta features it didnāt work.
The code AI is a little bit sluggish I must say.
It works for me but you gotta make sure the feature is enabled in your settings and often have to wait about 10 seconds before it suggests code completion.
Maybe it could be that my internet is bad or it was broken at the time I was testing it. I mean i ltrlly tested that feature like 5s after when it was out and was left disappointed lol.
But if its powered by chatgtp or something then I donāt need that feature since it will suck.
