Decided to start animating the Archangel which I made ~6 months ago. Early stuff, nothing concrete yet.
Moon Animator. I know he didn’t use Blender since the animations aren’t completely smooth.
This mech looks AMAZING!!! Your modelling skills are on point. : O
The only thing I’d be able to suggest here is to clean up your animations a little.
- I think you use the Moon Animator plugin.
- There is a way to import Moon Animator animations to Blender.
- With Blender, you are able to create totally smooth keyframes that will polish this final boss.
I’d recommend smoothing out all the attacks and animations to make this look very polished. If your computer can’t handle Blender, this is fine as is. GOOD JOB!
Not moon animator. I used the proprietary one.
Using the default animation plugin
Thank you for the feedback :).Yeah I have no experience with third party programs, that includes Blender, so everything I do is limited to roblox studio (until I decide to ‘finally’ start learning other programs).
I don’t think it’s possible to import Blender animations to Roblox without rigging your mesh and using skinned meshes though, is it? Currently skinned meshes put a lot of restrictions on what you can using scripts and incorporating non-rigged parts into your animation.
Alright my mistake. I have no idea what else I could suggest then.
I’m not too experienced with Roblox Studio, but the issues you’re stating do make sense.
There are many great games with non-smoothed out animations. I believe that the animations are fine and he shouldn’t have to go through that many problems to make them better. Thanks for possibly saving him some hours!
I love skinned meshes. I personally tried to use them, but since my understanding of Blender is practically zero, I could not make much progress. So I just stick to Studio
